Our Mission

Destiny Christian Church exists as a local ministry to make devoted followers of Jesus Christ and successful Christians of all people. Get to know Pastor Joe and Vicki Braucht!

Mission Emphasis

We plan to accomplish our mission through a combined emphasis of worship and Word. In personal counseling, small groups and corporate gatherings we emphasize the personal power available to every believer who will worship in spirit and walk in truth. “God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” (John 4:24)

Mission Strategy

Lead people into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
“All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.” (John 1:3)
“This man came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all through Him might believe. (8) He was not that Light, but sent to bear witness of that Light. (9) That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world.” (John 1:7-9)

Teach and inspire people to observe and obey the higher thoughts and higher ways taught by God’s Word.
“For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.” (Isaiah 55:9)

Encourage people to get planted in the church where they will grow and bring forth fruit.
“Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.” (Psalm 92:13)

Provide ministry preparation and ministry placement to help people fulfill God’s destiny for their lives.
“Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them; if prophesy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith; (7) or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching; (8) he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.” (Romans 12:6-8)
