Known for a ministry that imparts practical Biblical principles that equip people to live successful Christian lives, Pastor's Joe and Vicki are the Founders and Pastors of Destiny Christian Church (Burnsville and Owatonna, Minnesota) a great church in the southmetro area.

Pastor Joe’s positive/straight forward message will inspire and instruct you on how to live out your faith in Jesus Christ. Pastor Joe's humorous, personal and practical style of preaching complements the anointing he has as a preacher of the Word of God.

Pastor Vicki's enthusiasm for being real, genuine, and true to life is both contagious and refreshing, she has a passion for Prayer and her teaching style is extremely honest and will encourage you in your walk with Christ.

Pastors Tyler and Jessica both grew up at Destiny and have always been involved and active in the church in many areas. They were married May 18, 2007 and attended 2nd mile bible School and now oversee the youth department grades 6-12.

They are passionate about seeing young people find God’s plan, purpose and destiny for their lives, and are excited to see the EDGE youth ministry continue to grow. The youth meet every Wednesday night for a dynamic service in an exciting atmosphere featuring incredible worship, and a powerful, relevant message. They also have the J-High service for 6th-8th grade every Sunday during the morning service.

In addition to meeting each week they also enjoy planning other special events for the youth such as lock-ins, retreats, special speakers, connection groups, outings and other opportunities that allow the youth to grow in their relationship with God and with other young people.

As the Worship Leader, Jordan knows it’s important that the Church begin to grasp the power of praise. In Isaiah 42:13 it says that when we praise, “The Lord will march forth like a mighty hero; He will come out like a warrior, full of fury. He will shout his battle cry and crush all His enemies.”

As a Music Ministry Team, it is a privilege and an honor to use the skills God has given us for His glory, to be the first ones into battle and express our affection for Him all through our praise and worship.

Kari is the Director of Destiny's Children's Ministry and believes God has called them to Destiny for this time to partner with our Pastors to help reach the vision of the ministry. God has given her a passion to structure the children’s ministry in such a way that we will see our young one’s hearts touched and lives changed.

Jordan and Kari have three beautiful children, Starlynn, Brinlie and Kyler, and are enjoying their ever growing family; teaching their children what it means to be a disciple of our Lord Jesus.

Jeff Stromwall has lived in Minnesota since 1957. He grew up in Bloomington and has lived in Lakeville since 1985. He graduated from Brown Institute in 1976 with a degree in Electronics. He has five children and has been married to Kamala since 1992.

Jeff grew up going to church with his family and was very involved with choir and other church activities. He has been serving Pastors Joe and Vicki as a staff member since 1991. His mom was an executive assistant to the senior pastor at her church for 30 years so Jeff has learned a lot about service to the Lord and to the ministry of the local church from her. He has had just about every staff position at Destiny over the years but is currently involved with Production/Maintenance/Computer IT at Destiny.

Joe Conely has been involved in children’s ministry since 1994. His God-given humor is the spice Joe uses for making his messages memorable and enjoyable for kids. Joe uses many sources to develop curriculum that teaches the Gospel and life application of the Bible in ways kids can relate to in age appropriate means. Humor is the knock on the door of children’s attention allowing a more serious endeavor to relate what the Bible has to say about them, today and at their level of understanding. It is this gift that Joe feels God most assuredly gave him for this purpose, and the evidence is in the eyes of the children that he has the privilege to minister to.

He resides in Apple Valley with his wife Dawn, daughter Lilly and son Josiah and really big dog, Moses. So far, the dog is the only thing as big as his sense of humor or love for kids!

Jaime grew up in Topeka, Kansas. When she was only twelve years old, Jaime was teaching Sunday School at her church. She sang on the worship team with her brother, Pastor Jordan Langham, and was skilled in running sound and lighting for services. During Jaime’s sophomore year of high school her family moved to Lakeville, Minnesota, where she met her husband Joshua. They have been happily married since February 10, 2006. Josh and Jaime were stationed in Hawaii for three and a half years while Josh served in the Marine Corps. They were excited to move back to Minnesota and find a home church.

Their first week back they came to Destiny and knew right away they had found their home. Jaime has always had a passion to help and to serve and quickly got involved with the kid’s ministries. She now also serves as Destiny’s receptionist and nursery coordinator (birth - kindergarten), and also oversees the bookstore and hospitality team. Her husband Josh is Destiny’s lead sound engineer.

Lisa Stewart serves as Destiny's Ministry of Helps Volunteer Coordinator. In addition, she leads the Women of Destiny Women's Ministry, handles most of the Corporate Communication efforts for the ministry, and has taught a Personal Development Class at Destiny. Lisa's passion is centered around helping others to reach their God-given potential by tapping into their strengths, gifts and talents to become successful Christians and people.

She is originally from Los Angeles, California. She moved to Apple Valley, Minnesota in 1999 and currently resides in Burnsville. Lisa graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 1996 with a BS degree in Aerospace Studies. She also has a Professional Paralegal degree. Lisa works as a Manager of Finance Process Innovation for Target headquarters. She has two children, Michael and Aimee, and is married to Steve, who oversees the Usher/Support/Armor Bearer and Men's Ministry at Destiny.

Adam grew up in small-town Perham, MN, then moved to the metro area after graduating from North Dakota State University with a B.A. in Management Information Systems. Adam came to Destiny in 2006, and began dating Pastor Joe and Vicki's daughter, Tarah, in 2008, followed by a wedding in August 2009.

Adam and Tarah now live in Apple Valley and have a beautiful daughter, Summer, who was born August 24, 2010. They enjoy spending time as a family, hanging out at the pool in the summer-time, and going on their weekly date-night (thanks Nana Vicki for watching her every week!).
