    Volunteer Requirements

    • Because leaders will be directly involved in the lives and supervision of children, all potential Awana volunteers will be screened using a criminal history/background check.
    • Due to the nature of Awana clubs, Basic Training Orientation and Role Training are required for all volunteers. All training materials are provided.
    • Awana focuses on discipleship and for this reason it is important for volunteers to make a 9 month commitment (September 2018 - May 2019) to serve weekly and consistently.
